A note from the people building it
We are a small team that got tired of watching business owners lose an address they had used for a decade. So we built the mail service we wanted. It is funded by subscriptions, it will stay small on purpose, and every decision gets made by people who read the support mail themselves.
Invites go out in small batches so every mailbox gets a careful start. If yours breaks, you will hear from a person, not a ticket queue.

Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Point your MX records at OwnerMailbox and send through our SMTP servers. We generate the DKIM key and the DMARC record for you, and the domain stays registered in your name at your registrar, not ours.
How do I move my old mail over?
The importer connects to your current provider over IMAP and copies your folders across, keeping dates, read state and attachments. Nothing is deleted at the other end, so you can run both mailboxes side by side for as long as you want.
Do you read my email?
No. Mail is never scanned for advertising, profiling or model training. Automated spam and malware filtering runs on delivery because that is the only way to keep junk out. A person looks at a message only when you send it to support and ask us to.
What is the catch?
We are small and new. There is no free tier, the mobile apps are not built yet so you will use a standard mail client, and support is a handful of people answering mail rather than a 24 hour desk. If you need an account manager, we are not that yet.
What happens when the beta ends?
Beta mailboxes keep working. You get a month of notice before billing starts, the price quoted at signup is the price you get, and if you would rather not continue you can export and close the account with nothing owed.
What if I want to leave?
Take everything with you. Mail comes out over IMAP into any other client or provider, contacts export as vCard, and if you brought your own domain you simply repoint the MX records. No contract and no exit fee.
Is my mail backed up?
Every mailbox sits on redundant disks and is snapshotted daily, with snapshots kept for 30 days. Deleted mail waits in Trash for 30 days before it goes for good. Backups cover our failures, not a substitute for your own archive.
